Are there any tasty foods which have lots of nutrients?!

Question: i have never liked vegetables, i cant stand the textures of most of them. i like soup, but only in tiny quantities because of the same reason. i want to eat healthily but its hard when the only food you like is the unhealthy stuff. PLEASE HELP. i also know that just because something is low in calories it does not make it healthy

"i also know that just because something is low in calories it does not make it healthy" - YES! Thank you, you've done some research I see. Good for you.

My advice is to simply try everything. How did you come by your current taste? You tried a lot of things and learned what you did and did not like. Do the same now, try a lot of different healthy foods and see what you like and what you don't.

Try things like ground turkey (instead of ground beef) in a hamburger (whole wheat bun of course). Try different ways of preparing eggs. Cook up some chicken, season it, get some whole wheat tortillas and make chicken fajitas. There are tons of things you can try if you get creative. Experiment! That's half the fun of cooking and cooking healthy is no different.

why dont you eat fruit? im like DDICATED to grapes :P lol try yoguort & smoothies

trust me your gonna get use to healthy food & not want unhealthy food pretty soon

Try slowly changing what you eat. Like get a vegetable lasagna where the vegetables will be "hidden". Or play around with spices and sauces. Make chilli and add lots of veggies. Try hummus and whole grain pitas for a snack. And I totally agree with smoothies. They are so easy to make! (Blender + frozen/fresh fruit + yogurt = yummy!)

If texture is the real problem, try cooking things differently. Eat them raw, boiled, stir-fried, steamed, baked.. Also, try new foods. There are so many fruits and vegetables with such different textures.

I used to be REALLY picky. I know everyone says you don't know until you try it, but it's sort of true. I started eating a lot more vegetables when I went to people's houses and they made me things I thought were gross, but ate to be polite. Half the time I realized they weren't THAT bad. And once they aren't so bad, you get used to eating them and all of a sudden you ralize you like them.
