Sit-ups...what am i doing?!

Question: I do 130 of these sit ups every 2 days but i have no idea what their called, cant remember how i found out but its basically me putting my feet under something, legs at around a 50 degrees angle going about 1/4 of the way up to a normal sit up and holding that position for 3-5 seconds then repeating. Does anyone know what they're called? or if theres anything wrong with them? I can do a hell of a lot more normal sit-ups then i can do these so i assumed these are harder and better.

It sounds like a variation to an abdominal crunch, which is usually better than a traditional sit up. When you do them slow and then hold the position that's even better yet, and requires a lot of strength and muscle control, which is why they're harder.

If you can do 130 of those every two days then you must have very good abs!! Good job!!

uhm.. slow crunches?

oblique crunches
