Muscle Growth?!

Question: After a workout at the gym, what is going on inside your muscles to make them grow.

Answers: After a workout at the gym, what is going on inside your muscles to make them grow.

This is a very multiway question so I'm going to give two multiway answers that I think one of them your asking..

1) Your asking why your arm gets bigger and larger, during and after lifting for that period of time. The muscle has gained a tenseness and is pushing away from the bone, pretty much a not on purpose flexing position, expecting more restiance of gravity to fight back.

2) How do they get bigger after working out and stay that way with time? In simpler terms, they are much like products we buy in stores, The sellers are just trying to make a better product for us to buy, so they just study there past's goods and try to make them better. Take your arm for example. When you get a good workout, the muscle based cells either add on and become bigger, because they expect more of a challenge and your body thinks it wants to and needs to over come a new challenge. Or they just break down and reshape to take down what you put against it. Muscles are pretty much like lego's you add to the structure to make it better or worse. :D

they are growing in general, nothings inside of them, you wear your muscles out when you workout, then you rest them and they grow back to be stronger and better.
