Nope, thats normal for his height, especially if he has muscle from playing hockey. Don't worry about him, he's fine! right about where he should be!

He's not overweight at all. Since you said he's a hockey player, he probably just has a big frame, or "big bones", as they say. haha
he is probaly the most fit kid in the world
