Should i be concerned about losing 4 pounds over the weekend?!

Question: I am 12, 13 in May. I am 4'8. This weekend I lost 4 pounds. I had surgery, and that caused not much eating, but that is really all I did. (I was 74 pounds, now I am 70 pounds)

Weight loss that rapid tends to be fluid loss due to dehydration, and if you have undergone surgery and have not been eating well, it would be very easy to become dehydrated.

I wouldn't worry too much, just be sure to drink plenty of water or an electrolyte balanced drink (like sports drinks or 'hydration' drinks).

Surgery tends to make people lose a little weight. It's no big deal. Just make sure you are eating properly again. You'll eventually bounce back.
