Does regular exercise improve breathing?!

Question: If yes, which exercises?

Answers: If yes, which exercises?

The easiest chest exercise without any special equipment is called simply 'arms fling'. Stand up straight. Raise both arms with your elbows out to the sides level with your chin, your hands facing downards. Now fling both arms backwards in a thrusting motion and at the same time draw in a massive breath of air and throw out your chest.

This will great improve breathing. It will also speed up the heart - bang bang bang etc and keep you going.

Good luck...breath, breath and breath.

I think the best deep breaths joke came in a movie way back in the 1950s, called Doctor in the House, starring Dirk Bogard. He held his stethascope to the back of a young girl and said, "big breaths". The girl replied with a lisp, "yeth, and I'm only 14".

Cardiovascular exercises, e.g. walking or running.

Yes, all cardio exercise will help develop lung mass.

Yes and any excercises help improve your stamina and breathing... if your really out of shape just start by walking places and taking a nice cool drink with you for when your lungs start to burn!

Cardio can because it strengthens your heart and your lung capacity. (circulatory system if I'm not mistaken)

Run, walk at a brisk pace, do some aerobics, ride a bike, etc. Anything that gets your heart rate elevated for an amount of time (20 minutes or longer)

Cardiovascular exercise will increase lung capacity. Swimming is excellent for this, especially if you're asthmatic.

Doesn't help me, mind you I do have a plastic bag on my head.

do alot of cardio, and if you are worried about your breathing, breath trough your nose and exhale out your mouth takes presure of the lungs.........
