How much should i weigh at 5'9.5 ?!


Question: im 15 going on 16 in three months so i basically i'm 16
...anyways today i went to my family doctor and i weighed myself when the doc wasn't there and i weighed 165 pounds! and im starting to see that im getting a little chunky(just alittle) in the tummy area if ya know what i mean! and i don't feel to good about that
and im planning on loosing some weight this year (for my own comfort! in clothes and new year resolutions and the healthy way i won't do any stupid stuff im not that desperate lol)
but im tall most people think im like 140 or 145 but =\ im not
anyways how much do you think i should weight ?

i would say a good weight would be about 150. i think 140-145 would be too skinny. you would look sick or something. im am also almost 16 and i weigh 145 and im 5'8 and i look sick. sooo many people have asked if i have an eating disorder. so don't try to loose too much weight. maybe just a few pounds but not too much. the important thing is that you are comfortable with YOURSELF. don't worry about what other people say about you. at the end of the day none of them matter. its only you!! :D

You're quite tall, so you should be able to carry 138 - 145 lbs without being or feeling "chunky".

You're fine, you aren't over weight... But don't gain anymore weight. Try to lose a couple more pounds if you'd like... But not too much.

Here is an easy way to figure out what your average weight should be for a girl...
5 ft. = 100 lbs and just add 5 lbs for every inch after that. So your average weight would be around 145-150. But no worries you are not too far off just keep a steady healthy way of eating and try to go for walks or something active that keeps your interest.

quite a bit less. im a lil older and 2.5 inches taller and i lok good at 120...so maybe like 110
