Will this diet work? HELP?!


Question: I'm 20 years old and I've recently became disgusted by how much weight I've been putting on, I'm 5'10 and about 220 lbs (I've got a muscular build) I'm trying to drop my weight down to about 185. But with my current diet I seem...well, STUCK. I've only lost about a pound (I've been at it for about a week and a half) I've totaled my daily caloric intake to be around 1500 calories at the max. I eat about 400 calories in the morning (bowl of cereal and something) and I take a multivitamin with my green tea, then I go running for a half hour. Then for lunch I will have a v8 and a yogurt. then from then till supper( which is about 7pm for me) I
