Will I lose 10-15 lbs by Spring (March 20th)...?!

Question: if I keep up with this regimen? I do 45 minutes of cardio each day, split up into two parts. 20 minutes in the morning, 25 minutes later in the day. I also do a 15 minute Ab Workout. Along with a healthy diet, plenty of water and Green Tea daily. Will I shed the pounds by Spring?

Not unless you're on some drastic diet, or you're already way overweight. It took you awhile to put on 10-15lbs, so it's going to take you awhile to HEALTHILY take it off. But you have to start somewhere. It sounds like you have a great plan going, so you should definitely see a difference. Good luck!

Spring is already here! Well, almost. Chances are... no

nope. the first lbs. to go would be water weight. plus i'm not sure if your workouts are enough to shed the calories you intake per day to lose weight. with a proper eating habit and exercise i'm almost positive we only lose 3 lbs. per month.

sounds like a plan. I think that you can do it but stick with it do it everyday. We are in the same boat. But I am trying to get rid of my gut.

You're talking about taking off almost a pound a day? No way.

you won't lose any weight if you keep eating same old garbage foods.... what you mean by healthy diet? low calorie? low fat??? or what?

howver, if you are doing 45 minutes of cardio, then i suggest you to check this diet called fat loss 4 idiot...http://www.fatlose4idiot.com

if you follow it you'll reach your goal by spring :)

if you want to lose weight faster. i suggest you dont eat after 7 oclock. (dont eat meals i mean)

Healthy weight loss is about 1-2 lbs a week. If you started on February 28th, that would give you a range of 3 -6lbs provided that you're following an appropriate diet based on your activity level (i think normal for weight loss is a 1500 calorie diet).

If you lose too much weight per week, you end up burning muscle mass instead of fat. Muscle mass is what helps you lose the weight in the first place. So instead of being nice and slim, you'll be nice and flabby.

If you are obese, maybe. But if you are only 15 to 20 lbs over your ideal body weight right now, not likely in only 3 weeks. You are increasing your muscle mass (and weight) through exercise and your liver is releasing more glucose into your bloodstream to feed the increase of activity. You might find that you actually gain weight from heavier muscle mass. Set a weight loss goal of 3lbs/wk. Rest for one day in between
exercising 20 - 30 minutes of cardio or weight training to give
muscles a rest. Mix it up. Do some mild stretching in the mornings on days off.

March 20 is about 2 weeks away (ok .. 2.5). A healthy amount of weight to lose in this time is 5-7 lbs at the most. If you lose more than that, you'll gain it back quickly (and possibly gain more than you lost). Aim for 2 lbs a week and hope for a late spring. :-)

Also, one of the best ways to lose weight (in addition to what you are doing) is to stop eating after 7 or 8pm. This helps a lot!
