Desserts? is it ok if i allow myself one everyday...?!?!?!

Question: so here are the basics- i'm a girl, 18, 5'3 and about 110 pounds
i'm also recovering from anorexia and thus have a dietician and i go to a group 4 days a week for dinner but on my meal plan i am supposed to have 1 dessert a day - examples of desserts are a cupcake, small ice cream cone, ice cream bar, cookies, 4-6 oreos, candy bar ... ect

well today is my day off from my program and i hate a cupcake (210 calories) and i feel really really bad about it
this is what i've eaten today
breakfast -
yogurt
granola bar

lunch -
latte (130 calories)
granola bar

snack -
low fat fudge bar (100 calories)
apple

dessert - cupcake

and for dinner i'm planning on having
low fat chicken noodle soup
whole grain baguette
possibly small non-fat latte

and then probably a small snack later today after piano

what do you think?! like do you guys usually have some type of "dessert" everyday?

if your dietician wants you to eat dessert every day than you better eat it every day!! Don't feel guilty if they are telling you to eat it, that means for some reason you need to! Here is an example of my favorite dessert (currently) and it is actually healthy but delicious.
2 apples
1 banana
orange juice (maybe 2-4 tbls)
splenda or sugar
cinnamon or nutmeg

You cut the apples in half, cut a whole in the centers (like a bowl) then mash up the banana, mix in 1 tsp splenda (or sugar) and fill the apple bowls with the banana mixture. Then take the OJ and mix in cinnamon (or nutmeg) and 1 tsp splenda (or sugar). Put apples in baking dish, then pour OJ mixture over top of them. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes (or until apples are tender). Serve hot. (Adding whipped cream is a great topper too!)

Anyway, sounds like you need more protein, try eating a chicken salad wrap for lunch, or a turkey burger. For breakfast maybe some eggs or egg whites.

Good luck to you and most importantly CONGRATS on your recovery!!! Good for you!

Here are some more good healthy recipe's.

I would go crazy if I didn't have my daily dessert!

Yea i eat them once in a while i eat some healthy desserts Try something healthy and Delicious

My daily desserts are fruits :) I barely ever touch cupcakes unless it's xmas or birthday or valentine's. I love ice cream though..cant stay away from it. I have a 2-scoop sundae from baskin robbins once a week.

Dessert everyday is cool! Go nuts, eat a cupcake a day if you'd like! Enjoy!
