Is this a good workout routine? give me a suggestion?!


Question: my goal is to become a more explosive basketball player and stay in amazing shape.
here is my routine. it is a two week cycle.
Week 1
Monday-chest, lower body plyometrics
Tuesday-core,cardio
Wednesday-legs, back shoulders
Thursday-rest
Friday- plyometrics, biceps, triceps
Saturday-core, cardio
Sunday- legs
Week 2
Monday-chest
Tuesday-Core plyometrics
Wednesday-Biceps, Triceps
Thursday-Legs, Back, Shoulders
Friday-Core
Saturday-Plyometrics
Sunday-Core, Cardio

why dont you just go to gym and ask them to give you a routine to follow, there the kind of people to know, i wouldnt follow advice from people on yahoo answers, alot of em talk absolute bollocks :)

Looks nice,
You are giving every muscle part a day/few days rest.
You are cardio, to lose weight/more condition.

But remember you also need to basketball, so it's not only about the basketball shape look-a-like.
Its also about the co?rdination with throwing the ball and such.
And if I see your routine you won't be able to get go to your basketball lessons.
Unless you are getting the shape first and then joining a basketball club.

To me it looks Fine!..
But there are some details you didn't notice so I'll just explain them to you.
If you are trying to lose weight, lower your calorie's to around 1600-1700.
If your body fat % already is low try to eat more protein 1 hour before going to the gym.

This forum it also ment to hear what other people are thinking about someone's idea's.
Many people here DOES know where they are talking about.
Also I am experienced with losing weight and such. Without even asking the fitness people. Just by asking opinion's on this forum, because many DOES know if it's right or wrong with your idea.
