Answers: Does fish oil make me fat?

Fish Oil is meant to be taken as a certain dosage, you shouldn't be drinking a cup of it...the amount marked on the label indicates how much is a healthy amount, so it won't get you fat.

" Their most important actions are reducing inflammation, reducing the clotting tendency of the blood, improving the profile of fats circulating in the blood, optimizing brain function (DHA is a major constituent of cell membranes in the central nervous system) and inhibiting abnormal cell proliferation, thereby reducing cancer risks. All of this translates into significant disease protection."

As long as you are not buying and consuming fish oil in half pints, it won't make you fat.

May help you stay lean with reasonable fish oil capsules as supplement.

What will make you fat is pies, cakes, sugar, starches, lasagne, spaghetti, french fries, potato chips, pop, snack food, moonies, doughnuts, bear claws, danish pastries, mashed potatoes and gravy. Pancakes.

Animal fats make you fat too. Margarine, butter.

Some butter and olive oil and fish oil are okay.

Hydrogenated fats, lard, animal fats are the worst.

If you feel like eating something fatty, best thing to try is guacamole or avocadoes.

Eat whole grain breads. Oatmeal, especially Irish Oatmeal is okay too. These contain fiber and good nutrients.

These can substitute for things eliminated.

I would not turn down any Rhubarb, Strawberry or Mince Pie occasionally though.
