Tired all the time??!

Question: I'm 17 and I'm tired all the time. My mum prepares always makes healthy meals for us, but that also depends on what is healthy food really is! I'm 52 kg and 5 ft 4 tall, so I'm not overweight. Sometimes I eat a bowl of fried noodles or chips, but I always eat lots of fruits and veges like carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, apples, oranges, etc. I go to bed regularly between 9:30 pm & 10:00 pm, and my dad wakes me up at 6:00 am, but I'm still tired during the day. Several months ago, I drank a cup of coffee everyday (1 tablespoon of coffee in a cup) and I was really alert and could focus easily on my studies, but my dad pulled me off it, so I've been going without it for months and can't get over being so tired. It is true that I'm not getting enough exercise because I'm studying alot, but I tried doing regular exercise for a period of time, but it actually made me more tired rather than more alert as suggested by some websites on the internet. So does anyone have any suggessions??

Thanks!

Maybe you're anemic? (Lack of iron) Being female we lose a lot of iron through "that monthly time" so we need to replenish it through things like iron rich meats and spinach. Try eating more iron and taking these suplements:

Calcium
B Complex vitamins
Iron

Make sure you get 8-10 hours of sleep and plenty of fresh air and sunshine. B vitamins will give you energy, too. Having a balanced diet, a good solid sleeping pattern, and exercise... at 17 you should not be so tired that you notice it as a problem. Go to the doctor and have your thyroid checked...

Could be lots of things. Does high iron levels run in your family? It does in mine, that can make you feel tired and lethergic. But you may just need more sleep, some people, especially teens need 9 hours of sleep and sometimes more.

your body is probably still being weaned off the caffiene of the coffee
seriously, try excercising again, maybe this time, in open air (fresh air really helps)
get sunlight at least 30 mins a day
and try tea, it's supposed to help

Fruit better eating at morning or afternoon. your breakfast 1 cup of coffee is not enough. Try to eat small pieces of coco and 2 pieces of bread with jam. If morning you can have a sweet food will fill more energy. I suggest you go for swimming, because after swimming you will feel fresh. But after swimming between 1 hour cannnot have food.
Period time can exercise but must be light.
