What's safe to snack on when going to the gym???!


Question: I go to the gym straight form work. I end up pretty hungry by the time Its time togo.

If I dont eat before the gym I will be lazy and have no energy. But if eat a lot i will end up full and feelin sick.

Any suggestions???

You can have half a banana OR a small handful of nuts (I opt for Marcona almonds) OR a small bunch of grapes.

Basically whatever you feel comfortable with - you want to eat a little to stop you falling off the machine but not enough that you are in agony with the stitch from hell.

eat a power bar, if you are a girl try something like kellog's v-bars or whatever they're called, you will feel not too full and have energy.. if your a dude eat something like a power bar with high protein............

Best thing though is eat an hour before you go, like you said if you eat too much you feel sick, so try to eat the bar before you leave work then you will have energy for the gym by the time you are ready to go!!

I usually eat a 100 cal garnola or drink my protein shake before i go.
