Power cleans are good to build them,
as well as olympic lifts (Clean and Jerk, and Snatch)

Ab exercises won't do much for them.

The serratus muscles and the intercostals. I'm not sure about exercising them. The intercostals are mostly related to breathing, forcing that last bit of breath out of your lungs.
