There was a report in March of 2005 that stated:

Researchers found that obese adults who ate three servings of fat-free yogurt a day as part of a reduced-calorie diet lost 22% more weight and 61% more body fat than those who simply cut calories and didn't bone up on calcium. Yogurt eaters also lost 81% more fat in the stomach area than non-yogurt eaters.

"Not only did yogurt help the study participants lose more weight -- the average weight loss was 14 pounds -- they were about twice as effective at maintaining lean muscle mass," says researcher Michael Zemel, PhD, professor of nutrition at the University of Tennessee, in a news release. "This is a critical issue when dieting -- you want to lose fat, not muscle. Muscle helps burn calories, but it is often compromised during weight loss."

I have been dieting as well and have found that I lose more weight when I do have yogurt daily. But I do agree with the others that say that you need to eat many small meals a day. Good luck!

Great breakfast. Here's a link for the calories in a banana: http://www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/ca...
http://www.weightlossforall.com/calories...

there are 130 calories in a large banana so about 50 in half a regular one.. good work! very little calories, u can eat more though!

main thing is that it filled u up - otherwise it aint no point

yes it's good but don't be afraid to add some protein

Yogut approx. 100 calories
1/2 banana 53 calories
Propel 15 calories

Total breakfast 168 calories.

This is good, but you should have a mid-morning snack too.

that is a horrible breakfast... have a medium to large sized bowl of oatmeal with fruit in it. Then, have a glass of orange juice or something. Jesus, how do you stay awake with that little food in you.

haha it sure is heathly

thats a healthy breakfast! half a banana is about 30-50 calories.

This is what I usually have, but I eat a whole banana. As long as your satisfied then that is what counts, cause you know very well that there are few calories in this breakfast. Don't be afraid to mix it up a little too, the same ol' breakfast can get old after a few weeks. Oatmeal and other fruits are just as healthy.

that's a shitty breakfast.

too low in calories and yogurt probably wasn't even that healthy no matter what the label says.

sounds alright but it would have been better if it had been two eggs two rashers of bacon two sausages fried tomatoe and a fried slice of bread oh and mushrooms and black pudding thats a real breakfast
