On a diet ?!


Question: is it ok to have special k for breakfast or are there to many carbs and sugar??
should i just have fruit instead even though it doesnt fill me up ?

I wouldn't recomend it. Carbs are really important in your diet but Special K contains refined carbs which aren't so good. Cereals like bran flakes have wholegrain which are so much better and keep you fuller for longer. Special K is also very high in sugar which is obviously bad. There's no reason not to have to every now and then but it's really not that healthy to have it regularly.
However I wouldnt just have fruit instead cos it is good to get some carbs and protein in with your breakfast. Eggs or beans on toast is good for that. You could also try having oatmal/porridge cos it contains the 'good carbs', is low in sugar and stops you feeling hungry for ages. X

eggs r a good way to fill you up. and they r lo cal too. oats r good too.

Part of a successful diet is eating foods you enjoy. If you like special K, that's just fine. It's not the best choice, but you have to have some enjoyment in your meals or you will quit.
