3,400 calories is a pound. To maintain your weight you want about 2,000 calories a day depending on your physical activity. To lose weight, you should work on doing it slowly or you will slow your metabolism down and end up gaining it all back and more. So you should work on 1,600 calories a day. This means you should burn 200 calories and eat 200 calories less. I think 200 is normal for 20 minutes of running because i burn 300 when i run 30 minutes, so keep that up and watch what you eat. Don't eat before you go to bed...that stays with you and you hardly burn any calories in sleep. good luck!

thats really good you should also try to eat less than 2,000 calories a day!

yeah thats very good, one of the best tools for losing the treadmill

That is a LOT of calories to lose in 20 minutes.

Thats alot, at how much miles an hour are you going at ?
Thats alot of calories burnt in not alot of time,
to burn more, dont hold your self and do movements with your arms at the same time
alot put an inclenasion <<-- or however you spell it
goood luck.

Well 2000 calories is 1 lb.
(218 calories probably is less than what you consumed for breakfast.)
If you want to lose weight, you would need to exercise at least 1 hour 3 days a week, keep your pulse within the fat burning heartrate & watch your calorie intake.
Best of luck.

thats almost impossiable, it means you didnt warm up or cool off... at that pace youll have a heart attack. SLOW IT DOWN!

Goodness.. that's wonderful!

if you watch what you eat and stick to working out you will have no problem burning loads more calories. you are doing fine at what you are doing so keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not trust the machine to tell you how many calories you've burned. they are based on an average, and could be up to 50 % less than what you actually burned.
