Will pilates give me a nice body?!

Question: First things first, I'm a guy. I bought a Pilates DVD, and I want to know if it will give me a hot, sexy body if I keep doing it.

I know it won't make me look like a bodybuilder, but will it give me big enough muscles to make the average women think I have a hot body? I always get told I need to work out to be hotter, and I want to know if this will work...

I really hate lifting weights at the gym. I never stick with it no matter how many times I try, and so I'm looking for some other, inexpensive ways to make my body sexier. And I'm a wimp right now, so it won't take much...lol.

Pilates improves your mental and physical well-being, increases flexibility, and strengthens muscles. Pilates uses controlled movements in the form of mat exercises or equipment to tone and strengthen the body.
Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body's "core" or "powerhouse" (torso). People who do pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.
But if you truly want to build muscle and see that developing, you really should focus on weight training, kick boxing, etc. But if you are just looking to be lean, then different choices of cardio is the way to go. Pilates is more for core strength (which is still very important to build up) and flexibility.
Good luck and stay motivated =] ... remember it takes time for results to show, but it will all be worth it. And you can still do pilates, but just add in a few other things to your workout and I'm sure you'll get that hot body that you really want (as long as it will make you feel better about yourself, and that you aren't just doing it because of peer pressure)

FORGET PILATES... TRY POWER90X, ITS THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!!!!!

pilates gives you a slim well proportioned and nicely toned body, try looking at pictures of guys who do it (if you look at different exercise programs you will notice that each builds muscles slightly differently, so try and do the program that you are happy with the results it is giving others)

Pilates is good
but have you heard of the ab king pro?
