I take the whey protien powder after a good workout. it rebuilds your muscles and prevents them from being awfully sore

Yes, but continue to exercise and cross train.

yes it well help a lot just make sure you are getting some greens as well

You most probably will add weight with creatine but it will be water weight.

Eating more calories than your body needs will make you gain weight.

Whey protein isn't really high in calories so it won't help much in gaining weight. It is great source of protein tho.

You need to concentrate on your diet, eat a high-carbohydrate and high-protien diet, also try to incorporate essential fatty acids in your diet. Eat 6 meals per day in small portions, so that your body will be abudant of nutritients throughout the whole day, and won't go to catabolism (a process where the body cannot find a source of energy like carbs, fat or even protein, it burns the muscle for energy, thus you loose muscle mass)

Eat plenty of oats, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, barley and similar complex carbs. Carbs have the calories that you need in order to gain weight. Eat 1gram of protein per lb. Grilled chicken breasts, fish, eggs, dairy are good protein sources.

If you want a supplement to help you gain weight, and if you cannot really eat that much, get a Weight gainer supplement (also called Muscle Gainers) . Most weight gainers are very similar to whey protein. They contain the whey protein that you would get from the whey protein shake , but they also contain complex carbs and maybe some fat, which adds the extra calories to the shake.
