How much calorie intake a day?!

Question: I'm an 18 year old guy, ~140lbs, 5'11" and I want to know how much is a healthy calorie intake if I want to GAIN weight (sorry for going all-caps on you guys, just trying to highlight that part of the question)? I've looked at some calorie calculators online, but these just show me the minimum for if I want to stay at the same weight.

Dude its simple. If you want to add an extra pound, add an extra meal a day. A real meal, not a damm cookie.

if u know how much u need to keep ur b.w. just add 500 calories and then keep increasing by 500 increments. and also jsut like get the basis how much calories per like ounce in like chicken or beef. or w/e u eat at school. personally i would just bring my own lunch. and dont forget if ur trying to gain weight you have to workout and get the sufficient amount of protein for your muscles. a safe number for grams of protein is 1 g for every lb. so 140 grams of protein daily for u.

2800 calories. protein and carbs give you 4 calories per gram. fats give you 9 calories per gram. fat foods should never ever be more than 30 percent of your diet. hope that helps.
