Good ab exercises?!

Question: I had a c-section/hysterectomy 10 weeks ago. I got that yucky tummy pouch. Anyone have any good ab exercises for it?

Your stomach is likely to not be returned to its state before it (It loses elasticity), but there's many ab exercises you can do for function (More important than a pouch! lol :) ) and you might see success. It is subjective: Some women can, and some women can't.

First, and foremost- Cardio cardio cardio... Don't kill yourself (Please don't go overboard: Overtraining is as bad as not training enough), but that's a big part of the equation. Practice something that is moderate or intense with cardio. Aerobics, running/jogging, high level bike riding, NIA, et cetera...

As for exercises:
The standard ab crunch (Doing it on a swiss ball adds more to the movement)
You can do russian twists (Aka bicycles), reverse crunch (Instead of moving your torso up, put your legs together in the air at 90 degrees, and push those leg in to work the lower abdominal area), double crunch (Combine both movements together: Move up with your torso as you push your legs in to work the lower and upper abs) and so forth.

Swiss ball rolls- Get into a pushup position with a swissball at your feet. To do the movement, push your legs in as your knees bend, and back out again. That's one rep.
Ab rollouts- You can get an abwheel at a department store. They're just a couple bucks. They work your abs and your back as well. You can also do the same movement with dumbells (It depends on the shape but you can roll out with certain types), and you can also do rollouts with a swiss ball as well (Albeit harder). This movement is basically the opposite of the swiss ball roll; Take whatever you have (Wheel/swissball/dumbells), go on your knees, and from there, roll out. Use your midsection to propel you back, and repeat. It requires some upper body strength, but mostly your back and abs will be worked.

If your working on abs

crunches, sit-ups, running - all help abs

Easy 12 ounce curls..full flavored beer works best..Will have that tummy bigger in no time. Don't to forget to get a lot of sleep and eat plenty of krspy kremes
