Question about ballys?!
Question: anyone who has been or is a member of a bally's total fitness gym, do you like it? are the people nice?. I've been considering getting a membership there and i want to know if its worth the money and what its like.

My husband was a member of Bally's because it was the closest to him before we were married. He said it was the same as any other gym, but he would NEVER sign up with Bally's again because of the customer service at the corporate level. It took him almost a year to cancel his membership after he had moved and the "customer service" he received from corporate bordered on harassment.
So as long as you never plan on ending your membership with Bally's I think you'll be fine... but if you ever decide to change your mind, be prepared for a battle. They have a pretty bad record with the Better Business Bureau.
