My first week I lost 6lbs. In one month I lost 14lbs. On average, I have lost about 3lbs a week. My sister didn't notice any weight loss till the end of her 2nd week. I noticed the most weight loss when I was exercising 3 days a week for 30-45 minutes (walking) and drinking a lot of water (at least 5 cups). It's not hard at all and as long as you are taking vitamins, it won't affect your health negatively, it'll probably improve after two weeks. Stick with it no matter what and go to the Atkins website for tips.

I've never done the low/0 carb diet. But a friend of mine did and she lost about 7lbs in the 1st week due to the amount of carbs she had in her diet.

So more carbs you consume pre diet the better your outcome. Just remember to cycle in carbs 1 every 2 weeks.
