Question: i honestly dont care anymore.
MY WEIGHT HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR ME for YEARS.
I cant take this anymore.
I excercise on a regular basis and i eat very small portions.
But i seem to be gaining weight instead of losing.
this is my second day of starving myself.
I've only eaten a small plate of salad,because my father insisted that i have something.
He doesn't know im doing this he just said if you're not hungry just eat something with the family downstairs...
Oh yah and 3 cookies and milk.
But thats so much....
& i just wanna go anorexic again.
Last time,i searched the symptoms...& i had each and every one of them.
but my mother went crazy on me and forced me to eat. well..now im older, & im tired of feeling like a monster.
I feel like a beast in comparisent to all the other hot chicks at school...
I used to be considered one of the tiny ones, & now people always say im normal,or fat.
I hate this, & i just want to starve &feel in control of myself again. urrrrrrghhh.
i think about it 24/7

If people always (now) say you are normal or fat, what is your problem with being "normal?" You say you want to re-establish control, but it seems to be control in the service of making your body into what you think others will find acceptable; which really means you are giving the real control to others. Why do you need to be one of "the tiny" ones?

Aside from this, I'm sure you know you are playing with fire as far as your health; long-term, if not short term. Google Dr. Phil's shows on Anorexia if you want to see a possible future if you continue down this path.

Do you get plenty of movement, of exercise? If not, I'd start there, including some weight resistance, which can help with weight control.

If you can learn this while you are young, you will be ahead of 99% of your peers - forget about the minor problems you perceive with your body and instead learn to enjoy it and your life; the fact that you are young and presumably healthy and can use your body.

Run, jump, play, explore, create - focus on all the fascinating things out there and all that awaits you; but which you will miss and miss out on if you focus only inward, on yourself. Food is part of the pleasure of life; don't set up a life-long antagonistic relationship with it. Read Alice Water's new book if you want inspiration about this, but food is to be enjoyed and savored; it is not your enemy, except in excess, which usually is the result of psychological excess of one kind or another.

In a word, your young and healthy; enjoy your life, and develop yourself; don't waste your youth fixating on yourself. If you focus outward, on the world and on others, the "you" you are obsessing about will take care of itself, and of yourself. In forgetting about yourself you will find your self; your real and most powerful self.

Sometimes you gotta say IT IS WHAT IT IS

If you starve yourself, you will slow down your metabolism. Maybe you are doing the wrong exercise, or you need to change up your routine.

You should try throwing up too. I hear that works pretty well

starving yourself isn't going to help you lose weight honey.

it's putting your body into shock, then when you eat anything, your body is clinging to it..

check into a clinic or something.. you don't know what your doing.

being anorexic actually makes you gain weight faster. you should just eat a PLAIN SALAD WITH NO DRESSING and eat a fruit too(NOT MORE COOKIES FATTY)

as retarded as this sounds, your problably gaining weight because your not eating. your body is probably tweaking out because its hungry. you should still eat normal...salad is a great start.

hey dont stress urself out. u obviously hav stress and thats realli bad if ur tryna loose wait. i no its hard but u should just relax and realli tryto work out if u wanna loose the pounds. also, its proven that checking ur wait regulary increases ur mentality and encourages u to not eat alot or to exercise more. =]

Its hard but try only eating once a day like a am nd vomit its wrong nd un healthy but it seems to be working ive lost 2kgs in 4 days :)

Get checked for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It was the cause of my weight gain, and the curse of my attempts to lose it.

The tests to ask for are the 5-hour glucose tolerance test, and/or the fasting blood insulin test.

If hypoglycemia is part of your problem, it will explain why you were anorexic and why you feel like you need to starve yourself now.

Stress can agrivate the body more causing you to want to eat more so relax. Try to find something to consume your time and something productive. Try to lay off the sweets and only eat the essentials for you to feel good and get through the day. Soda and sweets only make it worse and it can also make you more hungry. Stick to meals that fill you up and make you feel good but don't overdue it. Try to make bowl movements on a regular basis during a certian time everyday. This will help your metabolism and help you lose weight without starving yourself. I usually go in the morning after eating breakfast. Its one of my favoriate times of the day =D

it shouldnt matter how you look as long as you think you are good looking that is all that matters. anorexia is very unhealthy. so please dont go back to that. you need to just work on your self esteem in my opinion. XD so just have fun with life and dont shorten your meals just eat less fatty and greasy foods. eat salads and red meats and grains and wheats stay away from fat. ;) good luck

Try watching your carbohydrate intake. Some people's bodies react to different things differently than others. Some people lose more weight on a low fat diet, and some others lose more on a carbohydrate diet. Overall, exercising when you can and cutting back on the sweets should do it. I would look into the low carb diet if I were you. I watched my carbohydrate intake in High School, and I lost 40lbs in 3 months. I also exercised as well. I went down from 220lbs to 180lbs. I'm in college now, and I'm a little chubby. Sometimes your body type is just a little bigger than others. If that's the case then maybe you just need to accept that. It really all depends. In the end you just need to have confidence in yourself, once you accomplish this, you will be able to achive anything.

why don't u try joining a gym working out, this way u can eat healthy workout on your own terms and get results.. crash dieting and starving yourself, u will only suffer in the long run, and always be unhappy and in a rut..... u deserve to be happy..

I've been down the anorexia road sweety, and I know how hard it is to "stay clean" afterwards. The best way to lose/maintain your weight is NOT to eat nothing or less, it's actually to eat more SMALLER meals thru-out the day that are "metabolism jump starters" and they'll keep you burning calories all day long. When you don't eat or eat very little your body goes into "starvation mode" where it actually holds all the calories you take in as fat because it thinks you are starving!!! TRUTHFULLY!!!
That's how the south beach diet works. And whatever you do, PLEASE don't do atkins, that's sooo bad for your body. Just do 30 minutes a day of some sort of excercise, take the stairs instead of elevators, park a little farther away in the parking lot, drink a gallon of water a day and cut out the soda (DO NOT drink diet soda, the sugar substitute actually makes you gain weight!), eat lots of "natural" foods that are as close to unprocessed as you can get.
Fresh fruit is incredible for this. Carry an orange in your bag, an apple, a banana, they are all great travel friendly foods. A bag of baby carrots, a low fat peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread, no refridgeration needed!

Don't play games with yourself!
You can eat salad all day and not get fat but what does it have in it?
If you eat eggs and chicken and salad you could not get fat.
Bread and sugar is not what you need.
Eat well and be active somehow!

i dont think you mentioned it, if you ever have.

you mentioned eating in small portions, that could be good, but depending on what you eat. if you dont get certain foods, theres no point in eating small portions.
just eat healthy food, read the food label, dont make bad choices, oh and dont call it dieting, call it a lifestyle change.

in reality, starving yourself makes you FATTER.
DONT DO IT!!!!

when you starve yourself, your body basically goes nuts, so the next time you eat, its like you just had a bowl of candy.

try getting one of those fitness dvds off an infomercial, they usually always come with a healthy meal plan and good foods to eat.

dont drink any soda or any other drinks, stick to just water from now on.
no more unhealthy foods because most people who go on crash diets dont eat then eat some chips or cookies which is very bad.

i swear that if you stick to the basics, a good workout(45 mins to and hour) and a new lifestyle of eating(no candy! no soda!)
you will lose weight.

just remember that when you start losing weight you cant just stop eating healthy and working out because you will just gain it back

I was the same as you, look at RealAge.com, THE BEST plan out there and it's free! Click on "view all interactive programs" and then on the right the YOU Doctors Box go to the YOU on a diet center. There's a two week menu plan, a shopping list, and recipes, you choose what to eat, you eat lots and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! Then you simply try to accomplish 10,000 steps a day, if not that then 5,000 which puts you at a sedentary level of activity, and print out the 20 minute workout they provide and do that every other day. I've been doing it for about a month now and have lost at least 5 lbs (maybe 10 but I'm not really sure since I don't think I checked when I started, but my average would have put me at a loss of 10), and 3 inches off my waist, my pants are FALLING off! My belt has become more than an accessory, lol.

You eat and eat and eat, the best thing is you learn what choices to make and what foods to eat. You'll feel better too, and there's not eliminating any food groups, just specific ingredients, like bleached flour, partially hydrogenated oil, and high fructose corn syrup. The book is about 10 bucks on Amazon.com, and you can dvr the show, YOU:On a diet and basically get all the info you need. At least try it for 2 weeks. Even if it wasn't a waist-loss program I would still eat this way now that I know how! Good luck!

Go get some counseling before you starve yourself to death. As you grow you will gain weight. When you put yourself on a very low calorie/food diet your body will go into starvation mode and you WON'T lose any weight in fact your body will start metabolizing your muscle to fuel itself. This not a food issue it is a control issue and you need to see a counselor. Normal is a healthy weight whether that is 100 lbs or 140 lb or more. You can be in poor health if you are underweight as well as overweight. You can be a "hot chick" at 120 lbs or at 200 lbs and for those who say differently they don't matter they don't have to live w/ your body. If they don't think you are a "hot Chick" at a healthy weight then they are superficial and can't see past the outer image to know you as a person.

You make me sad, losing is not about someone else it is about you and how you feel. I have had a weight problem for my whole life, and I always thought the same way. But that is wrong, people that love you truly will still love you no matter what you weigh, everyone else too hell with them! You need to feel good for yourself, and if you feel good at any weight that you are, than that is a good thing , the most important. You have to like yourself, everyone else can screw off!! They have no idea what makes you feel good.....only you do. I am still in that boat...I know!! But, I can love myself for who I am and I don't need anyone to tell me.Took alot of years, and I am still not done yet. But I am the most important to me......I am special to some , but to me......who else is no. 1? Hard, I know! Don't worry about what others think, you have to look after yourself, because in the end, what else is going to matter!!
