Unfortunately, there is no one way - every person's body is different, but the below are usually helpful...

Ppl may be able to influence their weight by influencing the level of blood sugar in their body at any one time. Basically, when you eat (anything, really) blood sugar goes up. When you haven't eaten anything in a while, blood sugar goes down. Large and rapid fluctuations in the level of blood sugar can result in many ppl putting on weight. You want this level to be as constant as possible.

THEREFORE eat 5 or 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones. And never skip breakfast - most important meal of the day.

Eat fewer carbohydrates in any one go.

Eat as few carbohydrates as possible after 5pm - so less bread, pasta, potatoes, sugar, chocolate etc - just eat meat/fish and veg for dinner.

Get more calories from protein - meat and fish - eat more of this.

Drink more cold water, drink less coffee.

And increase the amount of exercise you do - but do this part gradually else you may injure yourself.

Get plenty of sleep - the more hours you get before midnight the better.

Everything in moderation, though - if you ate only stuff that was healthy for you you would probably be less happy..and that's not good - so reach a compromise.

The best way to lose weight is to exercise at least 5 days a week for 30 minutes and watch your diet. Eat a variety of healthy fruits and veggies, along with whole-wheat bread, lean meats, and low-fat milk/dairy.

The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to make small changes in your life- that's not so gruelling.
1. Stop drinking juice, sodas, sweet non-carbonated drinks completely- just drink water if you're thirsty, the more the better.
2. Stop eating sweets- this is a tough one as I am a sweet o holic and I can't seem to stop once I start. For me... I don't eat it at all. It takes about a week to get to a point where I don't want it. As soon as I have a little bite- that's all I can think about.
3. No fast foods or junk foods. Don't eat anything from a drive through or from a bag (chips, etc.)- try to eat healthier, foods from your refridgerator.
4. Move around- at a minimum... walk, daily. Any other excercise is even better!

If you can cut these three out of your diet....... you should lose some weight, maybe a lot. These are little changes you can make and you may not even notice. Sodas is a biggie.... you'd be surprise what you'll lose if you just stop drinking it.
