WILL MY HARD work ever pay off?!


Question: I'm 15. 140 pounds. 5'6.

I started to go the gym with my sister the starting of last month.

We go 3-4 times a week. I do 45-55 minutes of cardio and some light lifting.

I walk home Monday-Friday from school (30 minute walk going up a big hill)

I always drink water, and i eat special K in the morning and fruits and veggies threw out the day. I cut ALL the sugars out of my life, and i never drink pop anyways. At supper i usually have salads with tuna and cottage cheese with whatever is for supper. And i drink green tea once aday.

On Thursdays, we go to a Palities(sp) and yoga class that my gym has. It's a one hour class and i love it!


When will i finnaly notice a difference, a wanna be toned and tight. Will i be this before summer?

You should start to see an improvement any day now, every body is different. You sound like you're doing everything right just remember that it's okay to have some "unhealthy" things every now and then. You're only 15, enjoy it.

Also, my wife just ran two marathons & still can't lose her weight from having our third child.
Having a protein shake really seems to help a lot of peeps slim down.

If you have been following everything as you say, then you would have noticed a difference already. My suspicion is that you are cheating. "If no one sees me eat it... then it doesn't count."
There is no magic potion, pill or drink that will make you lose weight. NO DIET WORKS! You simply have to change the way you eat forever.
Your body is most likely starving for proper nutrition and stores excess fat because of it. I think you should probably stop counting fats, sugars and carbohydrates. It is more important to purchase food WITHOUT any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives. Raw vegetables play a huge role in cellular creation, maintenance and repair as they possess vital enzymes that are destroyed when you cook them. You also need to take a good multivitamin that requires at least two doses per day to receive full benefits.
I am not trying to be harsh with you, I am simply pointing out the truth. If you really want to lose weight and tone up then you will have to tighten up your act. Good Luck!
