Hey Jesse,

You're right to want to lose some weight for health reasons. Normally, people who carry this kind of weight have a bit of difficulty exercising. Luckily, you're young and at over 6 feet tall, you may carry your weight well.

Exercising is always a great idea-- however, if you find you have trouble walking for longer periods at a time... you might find swimming is an excellent alternative for you.

Both swimming or any type of aqua exercise (exercises done in the water) relieves pressure on the joints of the body-- particularly the knees. You will derive many health benefits from regularly participating in water activities.

Exercise helps you burn calories. The foods you eat contain calories. Think of it as taking in calories and spending calories.

To lose one pound of fat, you have to create a calorie deficit of 3500 calories.

Normally, you should aim to lose no more than 1 percent of body weight per week in order to minimize any muscle loss associated with caloric deficits.

This means at a little over 300 lbs, you can lose up to about 3 pounds per week-- or the equivalent of 10, 500 calories.

On a daily basis, this means creating a calorie deficit of about 1500 calories (10,500 divided by 7 days).

Ideally, you should try to cut about half of those calories by eating roughly 750 calories less-- and trying to burn roughly 750 calories through more exercise.

This is not as easy as it sounds-- especially if you're just starting an exercise program. You may want to aim for a slower fat loss rate by cutting out 300 calories and burning 300 calories through exercise.

In general, the types of cardiovascular activities that help people burn calories include walking, hiking, jogging, running, cycling, stair climbing, rope jumping, swimming, rowing, dancing, skating, cross-country skiing... and all types of aerobics classes or other endurance activities.

You might also want to consider training your muscular system for a well rounded fitness exercise program.

The only way to succeed is to be persistent! You have to be patient and stick with it long enough to start seeing results. I'm sure if you start now, you'll be able to do it!

All the best,
Herve

1 word: Exercise.

dont eat for 2 weeks

do some easy workout first that you'll be able to do than get stronger and increase it.
do a lot of fast/normal walking it helps alot!
also eat healthy no snack foods like junk food it will get you off track ..for a snack mabey yoghurt and granola.
i am sure this will help you and good luck!

Change your diet but dont limit your food. Eat friuts and veges and cut out all junk. When you eat, it takes at least 20 mins for your body to realize that its actually full so dont stuff your face till you feel bloated. Just wait after eating. Start exercising by going for a short jog or something then gradually buid it up (i.e. 15 mins frist time, 30 mins second time) Just keep doing that and also drink heaps of water!

Easy. Don't try any fad diets or crazy "lose 100kg in ten days" type things, they don't work for the long term. Just watch what you eat, don't go overboard, and go for a short walk every day. Build that short walk up to more exercise over time and you will get used to it and start to look and feel fantastic! It helps if your exercise is incidental, eg. It is part of your normal day. I had a job a couple of years ago where I did a lot of walking every day, and I had never felt more fantastic, plus I had soooo much energy! Need to get back into a job like that!

1) Eat less big macs
2) Exercise
3) Go to Ethiopia and live out the locals' livestyle for a month

start working out

Easy.
On a morning make sure you drink warm water & lemon then have some cereal or porridge (Oats so simple, Special K, Museila etc) make sure u drink lots & lots of water during in the day & ur other meals make sure they are either Salads, Lean Meats, Fruit & Veggies. Don't eat after 6 O clock on an evenining, go for a long 1hour a walk also each day.

Start off by exercising first thing when you wake up. Start off slow. 5 push ups and 5 sit ups the first day, increase by one each day, this kick starts your metabolism. Also drink only water, get a charcoal filtered water jug for optimum health. Eat plenty of fruit and nuts (unsalted). Also a soy milk smoothie with yoghurt and fruit blended in (banana, berries) is highly beneficial as a morning drink. After a long enough time of eating healthy your body will start rejecting unhealthy foods, I've been on healthy foods and exercise for 3 months now and I've noticed the difference. When eating fruit my body feels a lot cooler and I feel more comfortable, when I eat something deep fried or fatty I begin to sweat straight away and I feel my body internally feel uncomfortable (its hard to explain). Eat three meals a day, mixed nuts as the only thing to snack on. Also look towards long term goals, don't rush yourself, set yourself a plan to be a certain weight by a certain age (like 240 pounds by 25, 200 pounds by 30), that way you should easily beat your goal, rather than trying to rush it into a shorter period. Persistance and determination go a long way, many geniuses have failed because they lack the persistance and many talented people have not used their talent due to lack of determination. Persistance and determination are far better qualities than genius or talent. I wish you the best of luck.

Hi !
Just make this experiment:
Don't eat anything that has glutamate or aspartame in it.
Those two poisons make increase you appetite in 40% and you get addicted to foods that have them, like hamburgers, fried potatoes, etc.

And someting that i read too ( and test it myself) , when you body gets clean from those poisons that are in purpose put it in food so some companies have huge profits, is that you start like vegetables! I didn't not like any greens, except lettuce, now i can eat broccoli every day! Can you believe?

That's because glutamate make you just like carbohydrates. Try that . It worked for me i lose weight ;)

Did you ever try doing a body cleanse? I have always considered doing a cleanse because I think we are all toxic from so many things in our environments, but many of them were too complicated and I did not think I would be able to stick to it. I finally found one I thought I could do and I am SO HAPPY! I lost 10 pounds in a week and 28 pounds in a month. I feel so much better. Let me tell you, once you start seeing results, you can do anything! Get more info from http://losebigweight.com
