A healthy diet will help you live longer, give you energy, prevent weight gain, improve mental focus, prevent disease...the list goes on and on. Many foods have healing properties as well.

Junk food, on the other hand, has no nutritional value (as in no vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, protein, etc) and tends to filled with lots of sugar and/or salt. It causes weight gain and only gives you short bursts of energy (the 'sugar high') before you crash again. Basically you are ingesting hundreds of worthless calories.

Simple, but cliche. You are what you eat. Literally.

That, and it's been proven that you'll live longer if you lead a healthy life.

Your body works best when it doesn't have anything harming it. You need protein and vitamins to do your best and work your hardest.

because we need to be healthy, obviously.
people need to learn how to take care of their bodys.
so they can live longer, and to the fullest extent.
junk food has lots of fats, calories, sugars, and sodium.
too much of anything is bad.

Junk food has a negative effect on your body, not just in terms of weight gain but in many ways. Healthy foods help your body stay healthy.
