I'm a fourteen year old girl, I weigh 124 lbs and I'm 5'8, am I to h!

Question: Normal...5' = 100 pounds, add 5 pounds for each additional inch. 8 * 5 = 40. Your normal adult weight would be about 140. You're probably a size 0 as it is. Don't lose any weight.

The girls you see modelling live on diet pills and soup. Do you want to sacrifice your health for something as fleeting as a modelling career? Go to school and get an education instead. Someday you too will be 40 years old.

depends what modelling your gonna be doing

Nobody is too big to be a model. If thats what you want to do then go for it!

at 5'8" you are underweight, but there is a great deal more to modelling than just body weight, there is personality, there is determination, there is hard work. Research the work, then decide if that is still what you want to do.

If you want to model couture, they would probably want you to lose 5 or 10 pounds. Anything else you would probably be ok the way you are.

No, you sound perfect for modeling! I'm 5'7 and I looked my best when I weighed around 125, I'd LOVE to be able to get back to that one day.

you shouldn't be worrying about modeling at 14 and worried about your weight. this world puts way too much pressure on yougn people. you aren't too heavy for modeling. you are underweight in the real world though and that's unhealthy.

no your fine! if u feel confident, attractive and determined you will make a good model. jussst dont go expectin too much-- its a n up-and-down industry but more importantly, dont change yourself for anyone!!!
take care

What you model should fit what body type you are, not the other way around. As long as you are fit and healthy, your weight shouldn't matter.

no, you are perfect :D

heavy???.......... at 124?.....Not possible.

As for modeling let them take you as you are or let them take a hike.

Weight should never be an issue for people unless it adversely affects health. Try to eat food that is good for you but then let genetics take over from there. What happens happens.

I am an old geezer of fifty and it irritates me that healthy kids are concerned about their weight because of an industry (modeling) that has created an unreal idea of what beauty is.
Beautiful is happy healthy and normal.

Don't become a model. It's too competitive and you'll end up with an eating disorder.

Keep going to school and study hard instead.
