Most all commercial diets will work. It's the dieter that doesn't.

I've heard people say that this diet doesn't work. Also, on a diet website, it was rated quite low.

what ever diet you follow, you need to strictly follow it and it is compulsory to do any physical activity for at least an hour and keep watching your weight.

The south beach diet does work but you have to exercise and stick to the diet. I was on it before they had all of the South Beach Diet food at the grocery stores and it I still lost a lot of weight.

seriously you should try weight watchers!! it really works i promise if you do it right and you can still eat good food!!! my friends mom has lost 50 lbs in i think it was 4 months being on that and she didnt even stick with it the whole time!!! i havent heard anything about south beach tho good luck

It is a fad diet!
Don't try it. You can gain more weight afterwards.
Instead of using such popular diets start having healthy eating habits.
Avoid processed foods, white pasta, oily things like biscuits...
Eat fish, salad, fruits, vegetables you will see the difference and exercise at least 1 hour a day.

Truly speaking, the south beach diet has wierd directions to follow. They deprive you of fruits completely, on the contrast while fruits are supposed to act as fillers for your cravings for sweets and fat foods. I suggest you go for a diet plan that will regulate your metabolism. Yes, tea is good for that. But it'll be better if you find a balanced plan for food you intake and some exercise/walk.
