I want to lose weight in primarily my a ss and thighs...?!


Question: ...I'm serious; the rest of my body is pretty much fine. I'm a fairly thin girl. I'm 5'7" and 122 pounds, but my a ss and my thighs really aren't in proportion with the rest of my thing frame. How can I target those areas specifically? Thanks.

You seem like a great build based on your stats. Based on what you say your *** and thighs are lusious rather than fat. But your opinion of you is what reallty counts so this is what to do. Cardio is the only way. You can not burn fat by spot training. Working your legs and butt will tone the muscles in that area but the fat will remain on top of it. Try resistance excercises-pushups, crunches, squats, joggin in place and there are tons on the internet. Try msn.com and look under their msn health thing. The key to a cardio workout is continuous. Create a routine of atleast 15 min. If you can not keep up, slow down at first and then pick the pace as your fitness level increases. That will work faster as you will actually do an entire workout and correctly. No breaks. Resistance workout may cause weight gain as you build muscle which is heavier than fat but more toned and smaller appearance. Dont worrry, it is the look you are after not the number on the scale.

Try doing leg lunges and jumping jacks. Leg lunges will tighten up your butt along with your thighs and calf muscles. :]

You need to burn fat by doing at least 30 mins of cardio a day as well as build lean muscle mass by using weights. Also you need to eat "clean" and target your calorie intake. I use Fitday on the web, it's free and it calculates everything for you. Don't expect fast results....workout 5-6 days a week and give it a least 6 weeks. Your effort will be reflected in those areas!
