I feel like im going mad?!


Question: me and my bf are trying to lose weight but the only thing im losing is my mind
we stoped eating noodles that was the first thing to go
then i stoped drinking soda
i have no desire for soda anymore i like drinking water and tea instead
but then he is like lets turn vegetarians we were that for 3 months
and didnt really lose weight then we started eating meat again
all i said was lets eat sandwiches once in awhile
he's like once this loaf of bread is gone its gone forever no more bread im like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh he dont even want to listen to me
is bread thad bad to eat?
i dont know what to do
help me tell me what to do

You should tell him how you feel. You seem like your loosing your willpower and when your willpower goes you need someone there to support you and put you slowly back on track..instead hes rushing you to stop eating more and more foods. You shouldnt cut definate foods out you should just eat what you want as long as you eat 1000 cals a day your defo gonna be loosing weight. Poor you ..good luck!x

No, your body needs carbs..and fats and proteins

Actually, if you eat wheat bread (at an appropriate time in the day) it's quite good for you and will indeed increase the metabolism to lose (burn) that fat.

HOWEVER if you load up your sandwich with things like mayo then you are pretty much better off eating a stick.

try my diet - fish and no beer diet.
i lost 5 pounds in 3 month with just switching from beer to whiskey and eat fish instead of meat.

but today im gonna eat some chicken. please dont tell my consciousness..

bread contains lots of carbo (same goes for wheat products). carbo can give you tummy flabs so I recommend you to avoid it as much as you can. Do a lot of running, walking would also help. you need to sweat off at thr same time, have an effective diet plan.

If you want to diet, then go on a dieting plan. Just guessing won't help. White bread is bad for you. Whole wheat bread is ok to eat, though. You should try to go on a low carb diet, those are the best. For dieting, don't eat any processed foods or red meats, but other meats are good for you. Eat a lot of veggies, and have fruit for desert.

You have to exercise too.

Just dieting will make your metabolism slow down as your body tries to conserve energy.

No food is off limits when your trying to lose weight, dieting just doesn't work..it will make you go crazy.. Eating less ( consume less than body needs) and exersicing, Take your weight and multipy that by 10 to get how many calories your body needs to stay that weight . So if your a 180. your need to comsume 1800 to stay the same. To lose a pound a week you need to eat about 1200 calories and exerisce.
Don't go down any less than 1200 and most tell men not to eat any less than 1400. Soda is empty calories so it's a good thing not to drink it.
Remember that Carbs are needed to help fuel your body but over doing it is just to many calories, causing weigh gain.

wow!! first stop take a breathe... sit down or stand... say your perfect...strong... and wonderful.. so I am not a doctor, and i can't make any medical claims, but my friend lost 107 pounds ... yeah no joke and kept it off for over 8 yrs. this helped her in ten days she designed her body to think healthy.

Show him the calories on bread! Bread is low in calories, and that's what it's all about. No white bread. The first ingredient should NOT be "bleached flour," that's crap. You want whole wheat flower, or UNbleached flour, or anything you can find in a health food store or Trader Joe's, if you're lucky enough to have that GREAT store.

Good for you on the no soda! But you're not on the stupid Atkin's diet! You NEED some healthy carbs, like healthy noodles, potatoes, and of course bread! Your bf doesn't own you! Buy some healthy bread, and he doesn't have to have any. He's not your boss! You make yourself a good sandwhich! Use light mayo and mustard.
If he won't agree to that, he's WAY to controlling, and I see no future in your relationship. It's all about compromise, give and take.

Be careful on the caffeine in the tea after dinner. It could keep you awake. Keep up with your lean meat, fish, chicken without the skin, bread, pasta, fruits and veggies. That is the way to eat for the rest of your life. Once you get down to your goal weight, you want to eat your weight X15. So if you get to 120, and are happy, you want to eat 120X15=1800 calories a day. That's assuming you're doing the normal amount of exercise. Walking is great!! Start gradually, but you can work up to as long as you want. But do at least 22 minutes without stopping.

Eat healthy, go to a gym. Its the most obvious thing to do instead of starving yourselves. Ask your trainer what are good things to eat. One more thing cut junk food, not healthy foods.

Here are a few things you can do:

1. Get a trainer

2. Ask if he/she has any tips on loosing weight at home.

3. Ask if their are any foods that you can eat and snack on that taste good and is good for you.

4. Reduce stress. Make sure you are calm and happy and have a possative additude.

5. Remember about eating in serving sizes. Don't stuff yourselves until your full.

6. Have a talk with your boyfriend about the bread "issue", ask your trainer if bread is bad. I am sure wheat bread isn't bad.

7. Try wakeing up early and go for a morning jog on Saturdays, instead of sleeping in.

8. Remeber don't stress yourself about this whole diet and excersise thing.

9. Go to a spa, relax.

10. Get yourself together. Make a list of goals. Write down the amount of weight you want to loose in that month.

Bonus: Remember the older you get the harder it is to loose weight. So better of start now, before its to late.
