Work out help?!

Question: k so I have physical education tests coming up on tuesday. I have to run a mile, do as many curl-ups as I can in a min., and push -ups. I don't have any problem with running a mile and the curl-ups, but I can't seem to do the push-ups. I have some trouble, like I can only do 20 and then my arms start to cramp up. How can I train my arms to do push ups? I don't care what I have to do. Anything will help.

well don't do too much before the test because you'll wear yourself out and won't be able to perform your best on the day. all you need to do is strengthen your arm muscles, so maybe practice a few push ups, in small numbers, like do 5 then rest, then wait a bit and do another 5 until you get the hang of it. make sure you warm up and cool down before and after so you don't pull a muscle. maybe you should train with some light weights so you build a little bit of muscle, but since it's tuesday i'm not sure if will make much of a difference.

good luck.
