Exercise with her. Ride bikes, jump rope, get on a treadmill. Discourage her from eating fast food and snacks. Her parents need to change what they bring into the house.

U r a total loser. How can u say that about ur 'best friend'. Kay, now onto business. I would suggest running together for fun, and like going to the gyn, swimming, etc.

take her to the gym and as a friend help with what she eats.

I'm sorry to tell but she is obese, she needs help..... You can start workin out with and plan a diet for hey you know.... but remember if she feels good being fat don't try anything....

I don't understand why you are so frantic about this? Your friend is a little on the chubby side, so what? If she is ok with it and hasn't said anything then why should you "help" her and get her to lose weight?

It really isn't any of your buisness if she wants to lose weight or doesn't. You should be there for her for what SHE chooses, not for what YOU choose for her. Thats what true bff do.

Umm...yeah, I would say she is. But when you look at her, does she look heavy? Maybe big bones and muscles play a role in that...but yeah, she needs to lose weight. You unfortunately can't do much for her...she might get offended of you mention something about it. Start by setting maybe a healthy example for her. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables when you are around her. Also invite her for some walks around the neighborhood. I hope this helps.

no i think shes heavy but not fat. theres a diffrent between heaviness and fat. in other words it depends on her body mass

you know what u r lik my bffl. bac when i was in 5th grade my friend tyarra was worried about me to i was 5'0'' and i weighed 180 pounds and now im in the 8th grade 5'3 and i weigh 232 pounds. i know it is not good being obese and just like my daddy told me,"until u make up in your mind that u r going 2 do right then it will b alright". that is good u want 2 help but she has 2 do it by herself eventually. But good luck

Your best friend? Ok... You really must act like her best friend and help her, I dont mean this in a nasty way buy she will eat herself to death if she isnt careful. She must become healthy, but she can and only will with your help and support... Over weight people generally need support and help because losing weight alone can be a difficult and very boring task.
With your help you can build and improve your friendship and become closer (I mean as friends) and make her feel better about herself and look better... Between you and your friend you can both excercise together, and more importantly it can be fun, and whilst you are both having fun the pounds will fall off... You must keep a strict mind on the whole thing though and dont allow other thoughts to interfer with what your doing, i.e just 1 ice cream, because this will spoil all the hard work. If you give your friend the right amount of help and support I promise you she will be a better and different person, she will feel happy about herself. Maybe you will have to be a bit cruel to be kind but trust me, neither of you will ever look back and she will have you to thank for it all, plus herself if she sticks at it!!! Never be put off by what others say. Heres a couple of sites to look at. Good luck!!! Swimming, running, walking, football, tennis, badminton are all good for exercise!!!
