Increase your physical activity, especially strength training. Muscle burns a lot of energy and increases metabolism. That's why men can eat so much more than women before gaining weight. You don't have to become a body builder, just some nice lean, toned muscle will do the trick.

there are many ways to do that:
1- make sure you eat enough calories
2- eat smaller, more frequent meals
3- do some cardio before breakfast
4- if you can take the stairs instead of the elevator, take'em
5- drink green tea, red tea, or coffee
6- eat more protein

the list goes on... as you can see, there are many small things you can do to burn off calories and increase metabolism by keeping active... like parking the car far away from work or the store to have a 5 minute walk to the place and things like that.

Do a cardio routine first thing in the morning. Incorporate small handweights when practical and also lunges and squats. Try to do some weight training about 3 times a week, also, if you can, because building muscle burns energy all day long, not just during the workout. You could also add another quick 10 minute intense workout of any kind later in the day for a kick it up a little. Or if you want, you can do the quick routine morning and the longer one later, whatever works best.
And don't skip meals because it usually slows down metabolism. Smaller meals 5 or 6 times day are best.
