What can i do?!?!


Question: Okay, so normally I eat about 1000 calories in a day but today I went insane! I had 4 small cookies and 1 medium sized cookie...it's not even day's end and i already ate 1000 calories! What can I do?! Exercise? Helllppppp!!

BTW, I'm 14, 5' 3'' and 113 lbs. =[

OK, OK. You are only 14, you're "twilight" so I guess you are a girl. You're just out of pre adolescence, not yet through puberty, 5'3", and weigh 113# and should still have some "baby fat" on you to be normal. An adult woman, who has a SMALL frame at 5'3" should weight at least 111# and you are worrying?

Why don't we try real hard to be anorexic which will ruin your health for the rest of your life?

You really better pump those calories up to about 1500/day, restrict fats/oils and red meats, eat lots of fruits/veggies, and have a good exercise/work out regime instead of worrying about how many cookies you are eating.

You really need to gain a few pounds, get a little more rounded and look forward to a "female" body (if you are a GIRL) and like I said, kick those calories up if you want to be healthy and just not just a boney "skinny".

You can tell yourself you probably added an extra day to your life and with your current diet it won't be a very long one. Enjoy!

Gee, if I ate 5 cookies, I would be grateful I could stop. And if I ate 1000 calories a day, I would be gaining weight because my body would be in starvation mode. It would put everything I ate into storage as fat.

Put all the junk food you have somewhere where you won't be able to see them all the time and keep fresh fruits (your favorites) ready, like keep a banana, apple, clementine out of the fridge and on the coffeetable or somewhere close to the TV(cause that's when most people wanna eat). Tasty fruits like strawberries, watermelon, melons, and kiwis should be washed (and cut up) so that you can take them out of the fridge easily.
By keeping fruit ready to take out, you can eat a lot, but you'll be eating foods that won't make you any fatter and will keep you from getting sick. Grapefruits will help you get thinner: this is true. I know someone really close who weighed 180 pounds and she had 2 grapefruits every day and made sure she ate junk food less and less. After a couple of months you could see it was working.
