Rebounding? Aka Mini Trampoline?!

Question: I have a 'rebounder' (I still think it's a funny name), and I use it almost every day, as the trampoline but I also use it as a step because I don't have the money to buy one, hehe.

I'm trying to lose a few pounds as I'm only very slightly overweight (BMI 25.1 according to the doctor, not just an online calculator). I'm not in a huge rush and I want to do it healthily.

I was just wondering whether rebounding is considered as cardio and how long should I bounce in a day to see a difference?

Age 17, female, 5'4", 146lbs. Goal - around 120lbs.

I have also cut down on my portions, eat much more healthily, don't snack and have become more active in general. I also do crunches and leg exercises.

Thank you, any help greatly appeciated =)

Apparently there are at least 33 ways rebounding helps:

Cardio exercise involves your muscles undergoing aerobic exercise. A good description of what this involves is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerobic_exe...

However, whether rebounding is actually cardio or not, I'm not sure. In any case, I think it might be a good idea to perhaps try to do between at least 20-30mins a day. Which would be reinforced by the statement in the first link "21. Rebounding for longer than 20 minutes at a moderate intensity increases the mitochondria count within the muscle cells, essential for endurance." Therefore it seems like it may indeed be.

However, I think in general, running, rowing or doing some form of sport would probably work better as cardio. Rebounding isn't without it's merits ofc!

One thing that will help you lose weight: a colon cleanse. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few until I found a great one that works (its all natural too! - it's just pills, but you'll detox, lose weight, and fell much, much better). You can go to
