Shall I lose weight? How can I?!


Question: I'm 5'4 and weigh 128lbs, shall I lose weight? I have also noticed that my boyfriend won't touch parts of me that are 'fat' such as my tummy and love handles.... He doesn't have a problem putting his hands all over my boobs and butt though... Does this sound like he thinks I'm fat? I'm not unhappy about the way I look to be quite honest.... I have tried dieting before but I always wanna eat loads by the end of the day lol so does anyone know any other ways to lose weight? I just want to make my boyfriend happy tbh... I have asked him if he thinks I'm fat and he said no... but i don't believe him =/

First off if your boyfriend said he won't touch your stomach and love handles because they are fat then I would kick that boy to the curb because you don't deserve to be talked to like that especially because your weight is perfectly normal. Your body mass index for being 5'4" and 128lbs is 22.0. The guide is below:
Underweight is under 18.5
Normal is 18.6-24.9
Overweight is 25-29.9
Obesity is 30 or higher.
That is according to the calculation for body mass index (BMI) from the Dept. of Health and Human Services - National Institutes of Health website.

You are obviously doing something right to maintain a normal BMI. As always you should keep up with daily exercise (just a walk around the park or at the mall is enough you don't need crazy extensive workouts) and eating well with fruits and veggies ( I like drinking V8 splash or V8 fusion since it is yummy, easy and gives you full serving of fruits and veggies in one glass). Skipping meals or dieting has been proven to NOT work if you want to lose weight. Just exercise daily and eat healthy that is all you need to do. If you feel like you need to lose weight just make sure you aren't going below 108lbs. That would throw you into the under weight category. But you can go all the way up to 145lbs and still be in your normal range.

If you feel good then don't worry about losing weight. If your boyfriend is that shallow then you need to find yourself a better man. :)

No, you do not to lose weight as you are well within the guidelines for your height/weight ratio.

Should you exercise and eat wholesome foods to maintain good health? Yes, most definitely.

Exercise not all will make you feel good, but it will also tone your muscles, overtime, making you look even better and allowing you o feel even better about yourself.

Your boyfriend likes to grab the parts you mentioned because those are the parts most guys like to grab.

your the perfect weight for your height (i don't know about your age cuz that could help me anwser better) you just need to tone your body just alittle.

I don't think you need to go on a diet ... but if you really want to I'd recommend the WW diet. I found all the info I needed about it online (without having to pay WW on their site) and I lost about 17 lbs in 3 weeks and never felt hungry... Half the time I actually ate less than my daily allowed points

The only person you should worry about is you. If you are happy that is all that matters. What your boyfriend does not like another man will so do not worry about pleasing him. Now if you weighed as much as me which is well over 200 pounds and I am 5'3 then I would say that you need to lose it for your health, that is why I am trying to lose it. If the only reason you want to lose weight is because of someones opinion then no you should not. Plus he says that he do not think you are fat. Some men just like specific parts of a woman's body.

So.. you want him to be touching all over your body? Well it doesn't matter... losing weight. Yes. Cardio for 20 minutes a day is enough, as long as you can maintain a steady jog the whole time. For tummy and love handles, do sit ups/ crunches, and this exercise:
get into pushup position (don't worry..)
instead of pushing up on your hands, use your forearms and put them together in the middle, you should be pushing up on the part of your arms between your wrists and elbows, and on your toes/balls of feet.
Hold for 30 seconds, repeat at least 3 times before bed.

The reason your bf doesn't touch your tummy and your love handles is because it being driven by his hormones.. and guys love butts and boobs. You are not over weight... I wouldn't worry about it. It sounds like to me your bf loves your body too.. other wise his hands wouldn't be all over your breast and butt. :)
