5'7"? You're gonna be tall! And no, you don't need to lose weight at all...

And don't listen to these people telling you you're overweight. If you do lose some, you'll probably be skinny as the girls you'll be chasing. If you feel a bit chubby, give it 6 months. You'll probably shoot up another couple of inches and all that chubbiness will be gone. However, if you lose weight before you grow taller, you're likely to be super skinny - like nightmare before christmas skinny...

You do want to exercise though, maybe play a sport. That has nothing to do with weight - just health (and muscle).

sounds bout right depends on ur bodyfat compared 2 ur lean mass. more lean mass= healthier

It all depends on your build, how much is fat vs. muscle, whether your body is planning a growth spurt soon, and all sorts of other things.

Only your doctor can answer this question. If you are really concerned go in for a checkup and discuss this with them.

Do not diet. It is usually counterproductive in the long run.
Exercise is good. Also, if your biggest meal is breakfast, your smallest meal is supper - then you burn what you eat during the day. It's what you eat in the evening that settles mostly into body fat.

Just keep growing. you will be surprised at how tall you are going to be. Dont diet..you are still growing, as I said!

i run two miles four times a week, do forty crunches a day, and lift 10 lb. weights (3 reps of 10)

i also eat healthy.

and i have lost a lot of my belly fat and thigh fat, they key losing weight in a healthy way is to eat less and healthier and to excercise!!

You're not fat at all, and in fact as you're still growing, going on any kind of diet now will mess with your metabolism and possibly keep you from reaching the full adult height you are supposed to have and stunt your growth.

Stay active, join school sports and do stuff outside, and you'll be great and healthy.

when i was 13 i was about 155 and your height, I was/am a mix of mesomorphic (muscular) and ectomorphic (skinny) body types don't worry...most people are a mix of 2 body types. just put on some muscle...do about 100 push ups when you wake up and about 200 sometime before you go to bed that day...you can take rests. If you cant do it just do as much as you can. If you are any bit chubby it will turn into muscle fast in like a month. Dont lose weight, when you hit high school your gonna want muscle...and even at your age the girls look at muscle. I should know im 15 lol so I was where your at just 2 years ago.
