Is it bad to have an 1100 calorie dinner?!

Question: I only eat 1700 a day but I usually have a big dinner, is that bad?

your body takes just as many calories to digest a small meal as a large meal...what this means is that you will be storing a lot of extra fat from that one huge meal. if you eat a lot of small means you will have a higher metabolism and be healthier. ideal is 300 calorie meals but of course, dinner can be a little more. try to keep it at 600 or less.

no

that's not healthy. doing what you do causes you to develop random health issues when you're older that have to do with your digestive system. the health problems could also randomly spread to other body systems because of the random dietary cycle you lead.

While it is ok to have a dinnner slightly larger than breakfast or lunch, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to regularly have smaller portions of all three meals.

this will keep your weight down while at the same time keeping you healthy

not if its the only thing you eat all day and it takes you all day to eat it.

Your body usually needs food every 4 hour, if it doesn't get it, you may mess up your blood sugar and feel tired, getting headache etc. 1700 calories is very little, I would guess your body needs more, but if it doesn't you should divide your meals pretty equally four times a day. This will make you feel less tired and more ready for new experiences. It is also better for your stomach.

When that's said, 1100 calories for dinner is not unusual, but persons who eat a dinner like that, usually eat above 3000 calories a day.

u should regulate ur calorie intake throughout the day instead of all ot once i would recommend always eating a 500 calorie breakfast, a 500 calorie lunch and a 700 calorie dinner. HOPE THIS HELPS

It is if you're trying to lose weight. Your body doesn't have enough time to burn the calories before you go to bed, therefore turning into fat.

Most of your calories should be consumed at Breakfast or lunch so you get the chance to burn them off.

Not really depending on what time you eat dinner. If you eat a 1100 calorie dinner late at night you might not be giving your body enough time to burn the calories.... Therefore meaning any fat in that dinner will just sit around and store to your body.
