How does this sound so far as a diet...and what else should I have?!


Question: 1 fat free light yogurt
2 hard boiled eggs
1 cup of baby carrots
1 cup of cauliflower with balsamic vinegarette
1 1/2 cups of steamed mixed veggies with a little bit of garlic butter

this is spaced out over the entire day...does this sound good...if not what else should I add?

I'd use canned pureed tomatoes instead of garlic butter on the veggies. Add some fruit-berries and melon are good choices. Also maybe a whole wheat pita with some hummus or some cheese for good healthy fats.

no thats not good. you're missing alot of essential nurtients. check out the food pyramid, it will recomend what you eat daily.

i am not a doctor, and i can't make any medical claims... but what you are doing sounds great... don't feel bad if you miss a few healthy snacks through the day, but what i suggest is something that would first start you off on the right foot... and then fill in the gaps since you don't have the entire day to eat like a farm animal.
