How much weight can I lose with this diet?!


Question: breakfast:
1 serving of Organic Multi grain cereal with 1/2 cup of milk (150 calories)
OR
1 serving of oatmeal (140 calories)

Lunch:
Nutrition bar--either Luna (180 calories) or Pria (170 calories)
They keep me full for a long time, that's why I like them

Dinner:
half a plate of salad, other half with chicken breast and carrots and a side of steamed vegetables

Dessert/snack:
1 1/2 serving of raisins

Exercise:
30-45 minutes of cardio

I'm just going to drink water and maybe tea sometimes too.

I'm 18, 5'6, 133lbs and I want to lose 10 lbs. How long will it take me to lose it doing this?

You're eating far to little, your breakfast and lunch come to only 320kcal, and can't come to more than 1000kcal when combined with your dinner. If you eat too little your body will go into famine mode and burn lean tissue instead of fat, which screws up your metabolism and makes you gain weight. I wouldn't advise going below 1400kcal a day.

i dont really know but it doesnt seem like your going to be eating an awful lot

It depends on person to person. Do not worry. you will lose your weight this way.

Well. It'll work. It'll take at most 5 weeks. ((prolly 3 though)) You can still eat about 200 more calories though. =)

18, 5'6, 133 pounds sounds really good
but if you really want to lose weight
then thats pretty good
but just so you dont get tired of it and quit
change it up a lil bit
eat other things
maybe with a few more calories
and some days with a few less calories

I am doing a soup and veggie diet. If I eat meat its a very small proportion of chicken or turkey. I have 2 kids a 4yr old and an 8 month old. I weighed 246lbs friday march 7 and today march 9 I weigh 241lbs. I swear this works!! Drink plenty of water or juice NO SODAS. I'm starting the biggest loser cardio dvd today so I can lose more and tone up. If you want any soup receipe just send me a message.
