Can protein bars be used to replace meals?!
Question: Well, that depends on the bar. Most are designed only to be snacks, but a few are designated as meal protein bars (for example, special K has two types of protein bars: one that is smaller and designated as a snack bar, and another that is larger, contains more calories and nutrients, and is designated a meal bar). So to answer your question, yes, meals bars can replace a meal, BUT you don't want to replace all or the majority of your meals with these bars. You would not be getting a healthy, well-balanced diet that way. I would recommend only using protein bars designated as meal bars for a quick breakfast or lunch (and I mean or, not both), and that's it.

no, my friend does this all the time and it isnt healthy. a protein bar should be eaten before or after excersizing, but it doesnt have the nutrients you get from a normal meal.
yeah you can!!!!!
Not a good idea. Protein bars are designed to be supplements/snacks, not meals. Kinda hard to get your five daily servings of veggies from them, too.
I sometimes take protein bars. But now i only take protein powders like casein protein, elite whey protein and egg protein.I am a bodybuilder.Protein bars should not be taken to replace meals. It should be taken before or after workout.
