If you do shoulder width palms facing out (regular pull up) then you are more working your lats. You still work your biceps but not as much as if you do close crip palms facing in. That's the best bicep working form. Also try different variations like close grip facing out, wide grip facing out while going up to the back of your neck (more lats), put a chair about 2 feet in front of you and put your feet on it for more of a lat/back pull. You can get a lot of different exercises just doing different push ups and different pull ups.

Yes they do. Try doing backwards push ups those help tri's alot too.

Chin ups actually work better for the lats than biceps. You don't need a gym to work out. Grab an old shovel handle and hang a couple of cement cinder blocks off it and you're set...good luck!

Defo close grip palms face you. wide will target lats more than biceps although will still target biceps.
