How can I stay healthy and maintain my weight while on a road trip?!


Question: I probably will go to a trip this summer and I recently lost 25 pounds. And I am wondering how can I keep my weight the way I am right now and also eat healthy on the road trip to my destination.

Because usually the stops have fast food restaurant and it's obvious that most of the food are unhealthy.

Pack lots of food! You should always have something in your car to snack on. Fruits and veggies are good or anything that doesn't have to be refrigerated. You could get a cooler and fill it with ice to put water in it or any food that you may want to keep cool. If not, there is always smart options at restaurants. Most menu's are diet friendly. If not, ask them to make it the way you want it.

Bring a cooler and pack low-cal stuff.

alot of preparation. Little tins of pull ring tuna, jerky, protein bars, keep out of those fast food joints man!

bring protein bars along and make sure u stretch every two hours to get the blood moving!!

where ever your destination is, try and find some type of hiking trail.. if u want to keep ur weight down.. try and bring some food along that u would normally eat thats considered "healthy" so when u stop at those fast food joints, you already have a meal that u would consider healthy.. always try and make some stops to stretch or bring some weights along.. so when u stop u can mabey workout a little bit.. mabey run some around whereever u are. mabey find a local gym whereever u are?? inless u are goin out in them middle of nowhere.

I agree that on a road trip you have to try new food because thats part of the experiance. So this is what you do! Eat little amounts of food! Just enough to have a good taste but not to get full! Thats were a lot of people go wrong! They eat like once or twice, but when they eat their meals they are big portions!
