Does your city have community centers with a gym?!
Question: I just heard from someone who moved to Portland, Oregon and they claimed that the neighborhoods there have community centers which are rec areas within walking distance of a particular neighborhood. These community centers also have a gym to work out in. I am unfamiliar with a city doing this and am curious if you live in a city that has a similar set up?

i live in qiryat Shmone Israel. there is a community center on my street. it has a very efficiently equipped gym. it is very nicely done and for the traffic it gets it is perfect. they have times available for just men ,for just women, times for families.
