Hi! please help me with my obesity problem...?!


Question: im 5'5 n weigh 71kgs. i go to the gym regularly and have cut down on my intake of food i have stopped eating sugary things as well. but nothing seems to work. its been 5 months since iv been gymming and 1 week since i cut down on food. plz help me and tell me how can i loose weight.im really troubled. thanks a ton!

first of all, you arent obese.
you may be a bit heavy but not much.
you've only recently changed your eating habits so I wouldnt expect to see a great change as of yet, but I think the main thing is that you remember muscle weighs more than fat so if you have been gymming for 5 months you may have lost inches and toned up without losing actual weight.
go for veggies and fruits, fibre and lots of water and keep going to the gym.
focus on how you feel, not how much you weigh!
i'd describe you as "pleasantly plump" -- certainly not fat or obese!

I used to work out really hard, and nothing happened because I was still eating whatever I wanted to. I found that I had to watch my diet and work out before any physical changes happened. And weight training wasn't enough. I had to do aerobic activities to burn calories. You may also want to have your doctor check you over to see if you have a thyroid problem or something.

Eat more food, but make sure it's good quality food - lean meat and fish, vegetables, small amounts of carbs. No butter, very little cheese, no cream, no sugar, and you will start seeing a difference.

One week is not a long time to see results, you need to allow a little more time. If you're not getting anywhere after 3 weeks, then something needs to be adjusted. But don't do anything without talking to a nutritionist first.
