Reduced Peanut butter? Bad or good.?!

Question: some people told me it was better for me, i eat A LOT of peanut butter, and then some said it's horrible for me, and to eat regular.

I've been eating graham crackers with reduced fat peanut butter on and off all day, could this have ruined my goal towards losing a few pounds?

which is better? regular or reduced?

Peanut butter is great for you, and it's full of good fats. So, stick with the regular, just make sure it doesn't have trans fats (partially hydrogenated "anything") or high fructose corn syrup.

Graham crackers usually have a decent amount of trans fats, as well. Make sure the brand you use doesn't have trans fats or HFCS, either.

They take a little getting used to, but I use Ak-Mak crackers, now. They're whole wheat and are very good for you. The downside is, they taste a little like cardboard by themselves, so they'll need your healthy peanut butter for sure...

Last, some natural peanut butters have palm oil in them. This is considered, by some, to be a trans fat, but it's full of good fats and I personally don't think it needs to be avoided.

Good Luck!

just make sure you choose stuff without hydrogenated or partially-hydrogentated oils. that is the part thats bad.

peanut butter good - graham crackers are garbage. any form of carbohydrate that can dissolve in the mouth is not healthy and is treated by the body as a simple sugar. so basically that snack is fat and sugar which is a recipe for fat storage

Neither! Try natural peanut butter! It's really good plus keeps you full, plus its only got peanuts and salt in it. All of those other chemicals in regular peanut butter will help you gain weight, but natural peanut butter is very healthy for you!
