Diet... so far. ..?!


Question: i ate a banana and soy milk for breakfast
turkey sandwhich with mayo lettuece tomatco and onion [white bread] for lunch
when i came home i had spaghettie then some doritos

okay, so uh i my diet ruiend or wat

well, your breakfast sounds too small, you should have added maybe a small bowl of cereal. lunch would have been better if you had left off the mayo and used wheat bread. spaghetti is good for you but i would have left out the doritos. don't feel bad i have a weak ness for doritos too. fav flavor is four cheese or cool ranch., you?

As long as you eat things in proportion and exercise

You can't totally deprive yourself of things you love to eat or else your diet is SURE to fail.

Just try to eat LESS of everything, and you'll be surprised how you do. Just make sure to portion out everything so you don't overindulge, and make sure to eat LOTS of veggies and fruit.

A good way to start is to completely cut out soda - and that means DIET soda as well.

That's what I did - and I've lost 45 lbs do far!

Depends on the dorito count because they story A LOT of fats and calories.But everything else,is pretty good.keep it up

Big deal.....start over...NOW!!! just because you "slipped" and had Doritos, don't sell out for the rest of the evening!
Stick with water, cerely and carrots the rest of the day and start over tomorrow. DON'T give up because of one backslide!!

well i eat aload of junk eveyday but...if u eat prperly at proper times n jst like a lil snak in between evey meal den its fine...n a lod of ppl on tv say dat if u go to da loo afta evey meal den ur very healthy n dnt forget u ave to excerise for bout 30mins everyday...wot eva dat could b walkin or jst woteva...so ye i do dat but i dnt eat junk like everyday but nywayz i look relly healthy n good now...id advise u to do da same but relly its up 2 u n i fink wot u ate woz completely healthy! bye!

no! your diet is not ruined. you may have slipped alittle with the doritos and carbs in pasta, but you can always work it off by dancing, running, or playing a sport! just follow a regular diet like this one i use:

breakfast: a nutrigrain bar or 100 calorie bagel with light cream cheese, water.
snack: an apple.
lunch: whole wheat sandwhich with turkey and veggies with low fat mayo and a 100 calorie pack snack and a propel to drink.
dinner: lean cuisine or smart one. or if you don't have that, baked chicken breast seasoned with garlic, pepper, and italian seasonings with a side of steamed veggies and whole wheat pasta.
make sure to drink 64 oz of water daily!

Instead of mayo, use mustard. Instead of white bread, eat whole wheat. Any pasta you eat should be whole grain as well. Doritos are obviously a no-no-- just don't buy them and you won't be tempted to eat them!

Always eat breakfast, as it gives your metabolism a jump start so you lose more calories throughout the day.

Eat sensible portions. I find that out of sight/out of mind always works best, so if you're having trouble controlling yourself, put half of what you made in a Tupperware container in the fridge. You won't be as tempted to eat everything on your plate, and then you've got a healthy lunch ready to go for work the next day.

dont be worried because you ate doritos or mayo
make sure you have a little of what you fancy each day because that means that you are less likely to crack and have a total pig out on doritos and chocolate and THEN you will have ruined your diet

just start new tomorrow , skip the white bread, get wheat.. no spaghetti, or dorritos! dorritos are very high in calories
